Welcome to My Personal Page
Dear Friends, Family, and new Friends and Donors,
Welcome! Do forgive my tardiness in launching my page for the new iteration of the Courage Classic now known as Courage. I invite you to join me in making this all new ride as successful in helping children and their families in need as Courage Classic was. My past donors know that I rode Courage Classic for ten years; it was challenging and rewarding raising money to help children who are victims of abuse. What a joy to help children, particularly children who have been harmed, quite frequently by one whom they trust. This year is a year of transition and change, exciting, new, and also a big new opportunity to help an expanded group of children. The benefits of Courage Classic live on because of the $10,000,000 raised over the last twenty-five years, but now Courage will also benefit children and their families when those children are victims of genetic or other medical circumstances. It is a worthy cause and one that I support. I am proud to say that with the help of heroes such as you I was able to raise a fair sum over my ten years of riding Courage Classic; fundraising does not come naturally to me. Again, I invite you to join me in making this ride successful so we may partner in helping kids receive the excellent care that Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and the Child Abuse Intervention Department provide and on which they have built their reputation. I urge you to go to the homepage and read about the cause.
I enjoy bicycling, even when suffering as I haul my overweight body up and over hills when it was clearly designed to barrel down hills. Having said that, my suffering is temporary and the bicycling cannot equal the joy I derive in easing the suffering of children, whether their suffering is the result of abuse or due to health concerns. Please partner with me by donating to this great cause via my fundraising, together we can help change the world for children in need right here in our own community and those who come from outside our immediate area.
God bless all y'all and may His peace and grace ever be with you.
