Welcome to My Personal Page
First off, if you have no idea who I am, I am Corrina. I love spending time outdoors doing almost anything, although being underwater is my fave. I would rather get lost in the woods than go shopping. I would rather carry my bike most the way up a trail to find that bikes arent aloud, than ride the pavement. I love art, taking picuters and as you may already know, sharing my pictures. I am a mother of an almost full grown human. If it was up to me I would be adventuring 100% of the time. I was born in Washington state and have lived here my whole life, ecpect for a year and a half in Costa Rica and a couple months living in Colorado. I have ridden a bike my whole lifem but really started up again when I got my current job, and then began commuting to work 11 miles rounds trip.
I didn't think I could do it when I first signed up. Luckily I was already commuting around 11 miles a day to work and back. Seriously, this ride was the best thing I could have ever done. I learned that working hard toward a goal, pays off when you cross that finish line. Everyday I would force myself to get up and put on the silly riding shorts, cuz, Corrina how you gonna ride 175 miles over four mountain passes if you can't get your ass to work? HA, it was motivation. The hard work paid off and I completed the ride.
The cause used to only support the Child Abused Intervention department which tried their best to educate kids so that the cuycle of child abuse would end. Now all the dollars goes to the entire Tacoma Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. None of the funds go to the ride or support the ride. The ride is supported by donations from The Rotary of the Puget Sound, every rest stop is a different city/group of volinteeers who thank us for riding! Alaska aAirlines donates and so do many other groups to make the ride possible.
Ask me anything, share my page with yoru friends. i dont benfit in any way from the donations. But I do need to raise at least $750 to get to ride.
Support me, share my page, donate a few dollars or hundreds.
Thank you kindly!
