Where does the event take place?
The festivities begin and end at The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse in Sumner (13608 Valley Ave E).
How much is registration?
Catch the early bird special through July 31 and register for only $25! From August 1 through October 3, registration will be $30 for ages 13+, and at packet pickup and on event-day, registration will be $35 for ages 13+. Kids ages 5-12 can register for $10, and all children 4 and under are free! Registration for Come Ride With Me Motorcycle Poker Run is $25, and you must be 21 or older to participate. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
When does online registration close?
The last day you can register online is October 3, 2018. This is to ensure that we have everything set for you to check in and pick up your t-shirts at the event.
Can I register at the event?
Yes! If you missed online registration, don't worry! You can sign up on event day for $35. Please note that t-shirts are not guaranteed for those who register on event-day and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I pick up my packet early?
Yes! Skip the lines on Saturday morning, and join us for pre-event packet pickup on Thursday, October 4 from 3-7pm at The Old Cannery Furniture Warehouse.
Can I pick up packets for my whole team or family?
Definitely! So we can serve you best, reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know that you'll be picking up for your whole team. That will give us time to get them all ready for you.
I want to fundraise to help support breast health programs, but I'm not sure where to start. Can you help?
How do my fundraising dollars help?
100% of funds raised through Come Walk With Me benefit breast health programs at MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. Check out our Cause page to learn more about the types of donor-supported programs offered to help ease the process of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
When does fundraising close?
Fundraising will close on October 31, 2018. Stay tuned to see the awesome fundraising rewards we have in store for you.
Can I change my password, my fundraising goal, or edit my fundraising page?
Definitely! Utilizing your Participant Center is easy and the best way to reach your fundraising goals. You can also change your password, your username, or update your personal information. Download our Participant Center How-To Guide to learn how to do all of this and more.
Can I bring a stroller?
Absolutely, however, please be aware that there are some spots of gravel and rough terrain along the route.
Can I bring my dog?
Sure! We love dogs. Just make sure your pup is on a leash at all times, and you are required to clean up after your pet.
Where should I park?
Parking at The Old Cannery is not available. Please park at any of the parking lots shown on this map. You may also park on any of the Sumner streets as depicted by city signage (except Main Street which will be closed). We suggest carpooling!
Do I get a t-shirt?
All pre-registered walkers will receive an official Come Walk With Me short-sleeved t-shirt! T-shirts for walkers who register on the day of the event are not guaranteed and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Register online to guarantee yours! Please note that children 4 and under who are not registering will not receive a t-shirt.
Who is eligible for the Kids' 50-Yard Dash?
All children ages 10 and under can participate in the Kids' Dash! This fun run is free of charge. Our little runners do not need to check-in at the event. The race announcer will make an announcement for all kids participating to line up at the bridge (on the corner of Traffic and Main).
Is there somewhere to put my jacket while I am walking?
Yes there is! Clothing check will be available for you to leave any extra layers behind while you are walking.
Will there be any food at the event?
Of course! It wouldn't be Come Walk With Me if you didn't have pink pancakes to enjoy. We'll make sure there's plenty of coffee, water, and milk, too!
I can't make it that day, but I still want to fundraise. Is that an option?
Absolutely! When you click on Register, choose the option to sign up as a Virtual Walker. You'll get set up with a fundraising page so you can still support the cause even if you can't be there. No registration fee required!
Can I volunteer at the event?
